Our 2011 Renovation: Holiday Haus underwent a major renovation in the summer of 2011. Recent guests have witnessed an impressive transformation in which our 15 modest rooms were renovated into lovely historical-interest spaces. Each room has fresh paint, brand new linens, down comforters and pillows, re-done flooring and new furniture. Most rooms are equipped with gas fireplaces, mini fridges and microwaves. An outdoor hot tub with a completely re-built and re-painted deck is a nice place to relax after a day on Mammoth Mountain.
Location: Our hotel property is easy to find right on Main Street, walking distance to the Village. We are located at a Main Street shuttle and trolley stop. Our property backs up to a serene pine forest. You'll love looking out your window to the quiet woods before heading out the front door to the Village and the slopes.
Dining: We provide coffee and a complimentary continental breakfast each morning from 7-10am. Order meals to your room with Doorstep Dinners.
History: As part of Mammoth’s rich history in a key spot on Mammoth’s Main St. for over 50 years, this landmark motel is still priced for budget-conscious travelers, but now offers an updated take on this true classic. Our major renovation debuted in Nov. 2011 to rave reviews. In addition to updated furniture, bedding, flooring and fixtures, all Holiday Haus rooms are decorated with archival photos and posters from the old days of Mammoth. Owner Nadine Jones worked with curator of the Hayden Cabin for the Southern Mono Historical Society Mark Davis to give each room a unique personality.
