Comeback of the year!

Holiday Haus Motel - yes,  the motel on Main St. near Minaret that nobody knows about - has undergone one of the most incredible transformations to be seen in Mammoth.  Holiday Haus is the combination of the original Cartwright Resort (grey buildings now called Main St. Apartments) and the Alahu Resort. 

Built in the 50’s, the property has been recently renovated to include 15 individualized historical theme rooms that detail the richness of Mammoth’s lodging history.  Mark Davis, curator of the Hayden Cabin for the Southern Mono Historical Society has created a mini gallery in each room with many never-before seen photos and archives.   

Amenities are not from the 50’s however and include down comforters and pillows, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV’s, mini-fridges and microwaves throughout as well as kitchen and fireplace upgrades in most rooms.  A free continental breakfast is served daily from 7 – 10 am.  The property is walking distance to the Gondola and Village at Mammoth and very affordable.
